Today we tail walked the half marathon at Basildon.
It was a new run for Run through and it was a really good course. It was just unfortunate that there was people in cars who where idiots and giving abuse to the marshals.
The mayor of Basildon started the race and was giving out medals at the end.
The community was so supportive though which was really nice. Alot of people where out cheering and motivating runners.
There was also a really nice farmer out by his farm giving out milk and milkshake in a cow onesie. The farm was called Bradfields farm.
It was a shame that our two runners dropped out just before the 5 mile mark but they where really lovely and it was their first half marathon. They did amazing and I hope that they will attempt it again another time.
